Kellogg Profits
The Kellogg Company’s seemingly recession proof operations continue to show a profit. The Battle Creek-based cereal and snack food giant reported a 2-percent improvement in profits for the first quarter of 2009. This, despite the tough economic climate and continued negative effects of the recent peanut butter recall. Kellogg earned 321-million dollars in the first three months of the year, compared to 315-million during the same period in 2008.
