Murder/Suicide Update
Police investigators say two teenage girls, allegedly shot by a Kalamazoo County man had worked for him, doing chores around his house for about a year, prior to Wednesday’s violence. 16-year old Tanika Heard was killed and her foster sister, 15-year old Brianna Washington was wounded. Washington says 67-year old Nicholas Arbutina tried to sexually assault Heard, then shot them when she fought him off. Police are still investigating.
