Domestic Dispute Causes Crash

A woman crashed her vehicle into a tree while being chased by a car driven by her fiancée according to Portage Police. It happened around 3am Saturday morning. Officers say the two were speeding and arguing on their cell phones when they drove through a flashing red light and veered off the road. The 21-year-old Kalamazoo woman was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The fiancee was arrested. The Kalamazoo County Prosecutors Office will investigate the case.
