Kalamazoo County Crash Injures 3

A woman and her two grandchildren were injured Saturday evening after a car crash in Comstock Township. 64-year-old Virginia Wilcox was driving on Michigan Avenue with her two grandkids in the vehicle. She reportedly turned in front of an oncoming pickup at North 35th Street. The driver of the pickup, 40-year-old Keith Norton, was not able to stop in time and hit the woman’s car. Wilcox and the two kids were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries and were released. Norton left the scene before police arrived.
