Record Crowd Watches MSU Advance To Final

Michigan State will play in the NCAA Championship game right here in Michigan Monday night. The Spartans beat Connecticut 82 to 73 in a game with the highest attendance in basketball history. A record-setting 72,456 fans packed Ford Field for a much anticipated showdown in the Final Four. Celebrations are taking place at the MSU campus in Lansing and police are on hand to make sure things stay within reason. Saturday night’s excitement and record attendance will be challenged again in just two short days when Michigan State plays in “Motown” Monday night for the NCAA championship title.
