Another Balloon Event This Summer?

The balloons may fly in Calhoun County twice this summer. The Balloon Federation of America would like to hold the 2009 U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championships at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds in Marshall this August. About fifty balloonists will compete at the event. The competition is not affiliated with Battle Creek’s annual Field of Flight event coming up in July.
