Triple Murder
Two men convicted in the murders of an elderly Kalamazoo County couple and their adult daughter have been sentenced to life without parole. Jerome Williams and Andrew Miller were sentenced Monday after being convicted in separate trials last month in the murders of Marinus and Sari Polderman and Anna Lewis. All three were beaten to death in the Poldermans' home eight years ago in what police say was a robbery gone wrong. Five suspects were arrested in the case last year. Benjamin Platt was sentenced to life without parole for First Degree Murder. Brandy Miller pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and is awaiting sentencing. Angela McConnell will go to trial later this month.
