Damaging Storm

Consumers Energy crews are getting help from out of state as they work to restore power to thousands of customers whose service was knocked out by severe storms Wednesday night. Over 200-thousand homes across the state were affected. More than 14-thousand in Calhoun County and about 20-thousand in Kalamazoo County were without electric power at last report. Consumers says most service should be restored by Friday evening, but people in rural areas may have to wait until Saturday.
