Power Restored
Most of the power has been restored in West Michigan after the damaging storms last weekend. Consumers Energy said that only about 19-hundred customers were still without service this morning. The utility said repairs are complete in Battle Creek, Hastings and Kalamazoo. More than 350-thousand were affected by the storms. Repair workers, aided by 86 additional crews from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky worked 24 hours a day to get everyone’s service restored. Anyone still without electricity should contact their provider.
