Millionaire Lawmakers

Michigan's U.S. House delegation has amassed a solid financial foundation through investment funds, stock and pensions. It includes several millionaires, including Republicans Fred Upton of St. Joseph, Joe Knollenberg of Oakland County's Bloomfield Township and Dave Camp of Midland. Dearborn Democrat John Dingell owns stock funds worth between $700,000 and 1.8 million dollars. Members of Congress list their assets in broad ranges and are not required to disclose the value of their homes.
