Teen Hurt In Crash

A Tekonsha teen is hospitalized in critical condition after a rollover accident Tuesday. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say 18-year old Emily Duty was eastbound on Jackson Road just after 10AM, when her vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. She was airlifted from the scene to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt, and they believe she may have dozed off at the wheel. Speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
