Woman Accused In Attack

A Battle Creek woman faces a charge of felonious domestic assault for stabbing her boyfriend with a broken bottle. The 46-year old woman was taken into custody Tuesday evening. She told police her 48-year old boyfriend woke up angry, started an argument and broke a gin bottle on her head. She stabbed him in the chest with the broken bottle. The boyfriend denies hitting the woman and has not been charged.
