Shooter Sought

Police are investigating after a dog was shot in Kalamazoo Saturday. The owner of the Jack Russell Terrier admits the dog was running loose when it was shot. Injuries to the dog were so extensive it had to be euthanized. The veterinarian was able to remove the 22-slug from the dog’s body. It will be submitted to state police. The dog owners hope it will lead investigators to the shooter.
