Robbery And Chase

Two Battle Creek men are jailed after a robbery and high speed chase Wednesday night. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to M Drive South in Burlington Township at about 8:20 where two men had forced another man into his home at gunpoint, tied him up and stole his car. Police spotted the vehicle on M-66 near B Drive South and tried to stop the suspects. They sped off and eventually flipped the stolen car on Goodale Street near Hubbard. Both men fled on foot but were soon caught. The 21-year old suspects face multiple charges, including Armed Robbery, Home Invasion and numerous weapons violations. Their names have not been released.
