Drug Arrest

A 24-year old Lansing man was arrested by Battle Creek Police on drug and other charges after a high speed chase earlier this week. Officers made a routine traffic stop near Michigan Avenue and Elm Street, but the suspect sped away through residential areas at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour. He finally crashed his car at the southbound ramp from I-194 to Columbia Avenue. He faces charges of marijuana possession, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and unrelated warrants.
