Car in Kalamazoo Living Room

A home in Kalamazoo will need some work, after a car went through it. Officers were called to the 1600 block of Park Avenue around 1:45 AM Sunday. When they arrived they found a car parked on the lawn. The driver had reportedly missed the stop sign at the intersection with Virginia and crashed into the front of the home. The hole was roughly 10 by 20 feet in size. The car was completely in the living room, and the driver backed out of the house, but the car was too damaged to go any further. The 43-year-old driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. No one in the home was hurt.
