The Battle Creek Fire Department is looking into what sparked a structure fire yesterday morning. Around 3:17 AM, crews responded to a house on Broad Street. There was extensive damage to a second floor bedroom. Total losses were estimated at $35,000, but no one was hurt. The investigation continues.
