Norovirus In Marshall

Calhoun County health officials say a norovirus outbreak in Marshall made two dozen people sick. The Health Department has confirmed norovirus in at least 24 people who gathered for a private party late last month. An outbreak is defined as two or more unrelated people infected by the same agent. Hope College recently closed for five days after the virus sickened hundreds. And a school in Kalamazoo is closed today to be sanitized after about 60 students and staff got sick. That illness has not been positively identified.
