Mission Change

The mission is about the change at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base. A ceremony is scheduled for Saturday that will mark the beginning of the unit’s transition from the A-10 mission to the C-21 mission. The squadron of A-10’s is moving to Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Mt. Clemons. In its 18 year run in Battle Creek, the fighter wing has been recognized for several successful deployments. The C-21 aircraft is used primarily for cargo, passenger and patient transport. Saturday’s ceremony will begin at 9AM at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base.
