Artist Sentenced

A Dimondale artist will go to prison for tax evasion. 52-year old June Marie Young was sentenced to 30 months in prison, followed by three years supervised release. She also received 300 hours of community service and must pay the IRS over 160-thousand dollars in restitution. Prosecutors say Young was a self-employed commercial artist who established a sham trust, where she had all her earnings depositied to make it appear that she had no income.
