Moore Ruling

The lawsuit challenging the State House candidacy of Calhoun County Commissioner Gregory Moore has been dismissed. Moore announced in a press release that the ruling reaffirms his spot on the primary election ballot in the 62nd District race. The attorney for Moore’s primary opponent, Battle Creek City Commissioner Susan Baldwin had challenged Moore’s eligibility to run based on a dispute about his primary residence when he filed to run for state office. On Monday, Circuit Court Judge James Kingsley dismissed the lawsuit. Baldwin’s campaign could appeal the ruling.
