Car Jacking Arrest

A suspect is in custody after a carjacking in Pennfield Township Thursday evening. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say the 19-year old was a client at Stone Hawk on St. Mary’s Lake Road. They say just after 5:30 PM he used a letter opener as a weapon to steal a car and hit two people as he left the parking lot. No one was injured. State Police caught the suspect in Nashville and took him to the Calhoun County Jail. He’ll be charged with Car Jacking and two counts of Felonious Assault with a Motor Vehicle.
