Officers Memorial

Battle Creek is honoring its fallen police officers with a permanent memorial. The dedication of the new memorial at the Battle Creek Police Department was held Tuesday in honor of the six Battle Creek Police Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The first was in 1920. The most recent was in 2005. The 350-thousand dollar memorial was funded entirely by donations.
