Hits and Run

Several victims were treated for minor injuries after two related hit-and-run crashes Sunday evening in Kalamazoo. Police were questioning the victim of a hit-and-run at Stadium and Lovell, as the suspect headed east on West Michigan. Before they could stop the suspect’s vehicle, it was involved in a second hit-and-run as it ran a red light at Westnedge. Police say the suspect hit a total of three vehicles in the two crashes. No one was seriously hurt and investigators say alcohol was not a factor. There’s been no word on possible charges against the driver at fault in both crashes.

I was driving the second car hit in this incident. What actually happened is that this woman hit a vehicle and ran in Schoolcraft, hit our car at Stadium and Lovell, immediately rear-ended a truck ahead of us, went around it, and then collided with a BMW at the intersection of Westnedge and Michigan. So there were four vehicles involved not three.
