Fisher Sentencing
A Battle Creek man will spend the rest of his life in prison. Michael Fisher received the mandatory life sentence without parole after being convicted in the murders of his wife and 12-year old son. At his sentencing, Fisher made a remorseless admission to killing his wife, Candy. He also threatened prosecutors, the judge, the judge’s family, his own attorney and anyone else he thought treated him unfairly. Fisher still faces charges related to assaulting and trying to disarm an officer in court last month when he was found guilty of the two murders.
