Contrary Doctor

A Grand Rapids hospital is investigating after a doctor reportedly told a lesbian couple that their lifestyle was contrary to his Christian beliefs. Ashleigh Haberman said the doctor questioned them about the gay marriage ruling in California when he discovered she and her partner were a couple. Spectrum Health is investigating. Haberman says they don’t want to doctor fired, won’t file a lawsuit and don’t even expect him to be OK with their lifestyle. They just want him to do his job. The report does not say the doctor refused the woman care. The hospital is not releasing the doctor’s name.
