Scam Website Targets Allegan County Fair

Dot net, not dot com… Remember that before you buy any tickets for a show at the Allegan County Fair this fall. A ticket scalper website out of Australia is using allegancountyfair.com to try and scam people by charging higher prices for the big name shows coming to the event. The real website is allegancountyfair.net. Unfortunately, it’s too late for some. The fair cannot reimburse people who were price-gouged, however the Michigan Consumer Protection agency is taking claims online or by phone.
