Official Arrested

A Calhoun County Juvenile Court Probation Officer has been arraigned on child pornography charges. Sheriff’s Deputies say 44-year old Michael Brown of Marshall was arrested Monday after his wife called authorities. She noticed some pictures on their home computer. Investigators say the images may have been downloaded from the internet. Brown faces up to seven years for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a felony. He is free on bond and us due back in court on April 7th for a preliminary examination.
