Intimidation Charge

A Battle Creek man faces charges including ethnic intimidation after reportedly threatening a neighbor. Police were called just before 3PM Saturday to the first block of Mary Street by a man who said his neighbor was using racial slurs while threatening to break in and assault him. When police arrived to arrest the 46-year old suspect, he became combative and threatened retaliation against the officers. He also faces charges of resisting arrest.
