Attacker Used Bottle

Battle Creek Police arrested a woman from Dowling early Sunday after she reportedly fought with another woman and hit her in the face with a liquor bottle. Police say she showed up at the victim’s house on West Grand Circle Avenue at about 1:30AM and threw rocks at it until the woman came out. That’s when the 27-year old hit the other woman with the bottle. The two then fought in the street. The suspect told police she thought the other woman was involved in stealing her purse. She’ll be charged with felonious assault.
