Student Hurt

A Pennfield High School student was badly hurt in the school parking lot Monday. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says the 17-year old was riding on the hood of a car being driven by a 16-year old student and was thrown off. The student was taken to the Battle Creek Health System in critical condition. No names have been released.
