Members of the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners were sworn in by County Clerk and Register of Deeds Anne Norlander during Thursday night’s meeting. The board has four new commissioners and will soon have a fifth. District seven commissioner Eusebio Solis resigned before the meeting ended to take the position of Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. A special election will be held to select a replacement.
In other business, Commissioner Mike Rae was elected board chairman and Commissioner Terris Todd was elected vice-chair.
