Illness Outbreak
Hope College was recently closed due to a norovirus outbreak that sickened hundreds of students and staff. Now a Kalamazoo school is dealing with another outbreak. At least 60 students and employees at Washington Writers Academy have come down with severe gastro-intestinal symptoms. Tests are being conducted to identify the illness. In the meantime, the Academy has been closed Thursday and Friday for sterilization.
