BC Teen Injured when Man Hits Bus

A local man is behind bars awaiting arraignment after allegedly hitting a school bus with his car and then fleeing the scene. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say a Pennfield School bus was driving through the intersection when the car ran a stop sign and hit the bus. A 17-year-old girl on the bus was treated and released from the hospital for injuries from the crash. The driver fled the crash but was identified by the bus’s passengers. 54-year-old Joseph Love was apprehended at his apartment shortly after. He is being held on charges of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
