Thompson Guilty

An Allegan County woman has been convicted of helping to kill her ex-husband. After just over two hours of deliberations Monday, jurors found Dena Thompson guilty of First Degree Murder, Conspiracy and other charges in the death of Troy Tyo. Thompson faces mandatory life in prison when she's sentenced next month. Investigators say Thompson convinced her current husband to kill Tyo so she could get custody of their two daughters. He's charged with Open Murder. Thompson's sister and brother-in-law are charged as accessories.
