Bad Host

A Burlington man is in the Calhoun County Jail awaiting arraignment on multiple charges related to an incident involving gunfire Tuesday night. State Police say a 28-year old man and a 23-year old woman were guests at the suspect’s home. An evening of drinking ended with an argument and the 43-year old homeowner chasing the two out of his house while firing shots at them with a handgun. They were not injured. Police had to use tazers and pepper spray to subdue the suspect and take him into custody. He’ll be charged with Felonious Assault with a Firearm, Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. His name has not been released.
