Moore To Jail

A Kalamazoo City Commissioner was scheduled to begin her sentence at the Calhoun County Jail. After months of defiant statements, Stephanie Moore pled no contest to Attempted Interfering and Obstructing Police. The charges followed an incident during the holiday basketball tournament last December at the Battle Creek Central High School Field House. Moore was sentenced to a weekend in jail and 18-months probation. She must also pay nearly 15-hundred dollars in court costs and was required to write letters of apology to the school and the officer involved.
