Arrest Made In December Hit-And-Run
A 51-year-old Bellevue man was arrested in connection to the hit-and-run death of a 15-year-old Battle Creek boy. Carl Garvison was taken in by authorities at his home on Friday on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury or death. He will be formally charged on Monday. The charge stems from an accident on December 22nd, when a truck hopped the curb on Raymond Road and hit Kraig Millsap, and injured his brother, 12-year-old Kody. A friend that was with the brothers while they walked along the road was not hurt. Investigators say that Garvison has had his license revoked numerous times, and has been arrested five times for driving while impared.
